Magic Buttons

It is funny to me this evening when I think of an important person in my life. I reflect the days events as I am about to settle my sweet little head on my big fluffy pillow.

Around, ohh...let's say 8 in the PM, my phone rings. I have the ans. mach. Turned off today because the out going message says "thanks for calling the Smith residence..." There is no one named Smith who lives here, but it confuses ppl whom i prefer to not speak with! Yes, I screen my calls.

Of course I ans the phone and I hear not much of anything. Then I faintly here a familiar voice talking with an unfamiliar voice.

Now, this familiar voice has joked about this type of thing happening before, except that person was on the receiving end. This time they were not...I was! It was hilarious. I pushed buttons and yelled into the phone and after a few minutes I hear "Is that my phone?", it was classic.

So this is a lesson to all... Do not drive with your phone in your pocket or on your belt. That's right, I think I even heard a blinker.

I've done that on more than one occasion. My boss got one call of me talking to a taxi driver coming home from the airport, and I managed to grab the call of me driving to work off the answering machine at work before anyone heard me singing along with the radio.

I have a flip phone now for that reason.

I thought I'd swing by your blog since you visited mine. I read the Fat Kid stuff. I get 96.5 The Mountain where I live, but I don't listen to that station very much. I'll check it out.

Later,

someone should do a tv special, for HBO or some channel of the sort, where they catch the accidental crank call. it could make for some interesting listening.

How do you know that was a turn signal you heard. It might have been something else that you really don't want to know about. Trust me.

ok then real...I'm thinking that one of the 2 ppl I heard might be in pain still...if that wasn't a blinker I heard. I am sure that I do not wish to carry that imaginative thought any further...I will tell myself it WAS a blinker I heard, even if it wasn't!!!...I don't wanna know...really, I don't...

PS- I REALly missed you at the family thing on the 4th! Needless to say, there was zero intelligent convo in that house!lol
